Since 1983, the NW New Works Festival (NWNW) has been a vibrant celebration of artists from all performance disciplines, showcasing the dynamic arts community of the Pacific Northwest.
This festival directly supports artists in creating and presenting new works, and developing their practices, while offering them an invaluable stage to shine.
The 2026 NWNW Festival has been curated by Rana San (intermedia artist and curator), Parmida Ziaei (multidisciplinary artist and designer), and ILVS STRAUSS (multidisciplinary artist and NWNW 2025 participant). NWNW will feature seven new works performed on the Merrill Theater stage at OtB over three days, June 4-6, 2026.
Join us to experience bold new works by Joanne Park & Ripcode aka Ghost Rexx (Vancouver, B.C.), Meysha Harville & Mare Hirsch (Seattle, WA), Naomi Deckard (Seattle, WA), Nia-Amina Minor (Seattle, WA), Swim Pony (Seattle, WA), Tariq Mitri (Seattle, WA), and Undercurrent (Seattle, WA).
NWNW is made possible through generous support by John C. Robinson and Maya Sonenberg, Norie Sato and Ralph Berry, Raynier Foundation, and The Tulalip Foundation.
