Jeanine Durning

Jeanine Durning is a choreographer, performer, teacher, Guggenheim Fellow, and Alpert Award recipient based in New York City. Her work stays close to the places where movement, language, and thought continually reorganize one another. Through performances including inging and her ongoing practice of "nonstopping," she continues to investigate attention, perception, improvisation, and the unstable relationship between thinking and dancing. Her work has been presented throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada.
