Jessie Young is a choreographer, performer, educator, producer, and curator from Port Angeles, Washington. Their work moves between choreography, performance, teaching, producing, and organizing, interested less in separating those practices than noticing where they overlap and what each makes possible for the others. Jessie is the Director of Education & Artistic Engagement at Field Hall, a new performing arts center on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, where they develop long-term partnerships among artists, schools, and communities. They also curate and produce Local Voyages, a seasonal performance series bringing contemporary performance into conversation with the Olympic Peninsula and the artists who live there.

Jessie's work has been presented by The Chocolate Factory Theater, New York Live Arts, Danspace Project, and Brooklyn Arts Exchange. They have performed with Abby Z and the New Utility, Beth Gill, Tere O'Connor, Julie Mayo, and Stephanie Acosta. Jessie is on faculty at the American Dance Festival and will teach this summer at The Field Center in Vermont.
