Rachael Lincoln
Rachael Lincoln (she/her) is a dance-maker, performer, and teacher committed to collaborative process and performance. For over two decades, she has co-created and toured extensively with longtime collaborator Leslie Seiters, building a body of duet work that is both precise and deeply human. She is in her eleventh year with AVID, a Seattle-based improvisation collective, where she continues to explore ensemble practice and performance. Since 1998, Rachael has been a performer and associate director with BANDALOOP, bringing site-specific vertical dance to theaters and architectural landmarks across the globe. Her performance history includes work with celebrated artists such as Joe Goode, Jo Kreiter, Bebe Miller, Sara Shelton Mann, and Nancy Stark Smith. Currently, she is enjoying teaching Low Fly—a responsive, momentum-based rope, harness, and floor technique—and is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington.
