Ryan Gamblin
Ryan Gamblin is a sound designer, composer, and performance-maker based in Queens, NY. Their work centers original composition, found media, and the use of the system as instrument. As a sound designer for theater and dance, they have worked with artists including Faye Driscoll, 600 Highwaymen, Nazareth Hassan, Leslie Cuyjet, The Civilians, Big Dance Theater, Michael Herwitz, National Queer Theater. Their designs have been heard at New York Live Arts, PACNY, The Vineyard Theatre, The Chocolate Factory, ICA Boston, REDCAT, Kunstenfestivaldesartes (BEL), Festival TransAmériques (CA), Noorderzon Festival (NL), Julidans (NL), Athens Epidaurus Festival (GR), and Festival de Marseille (FR), Autumn Meteorite (Tokyo, JP). Ryan is currently a fellow at the Target Margin Theater Institute.
