In this free public conversation, Megan Kiskaddon, Executive and Artistic Director for On the Boards, and Gutierrez will share their personal experiences of the 2025 National Endowment for the Arts' “Friday night massacre” when the Trump government rescinded hundreds of grants to arts institutions across the country, including On the Boards. Together they will assess the monumental impacts that this and other shifts at large philanthropic organizations are having on U.S. based artists. In the spirit of Are You For Sale? the conversation will be candid, cathartic, and community driven, so bring your questions for this live recording.
