Erin Johnson has been a part of Velocity’s leadership for the past three years. There she works to create networks of support for Seattle-based dance artists, emerging through established, by building and sustaining residency and performance platforms; programming ongoing classes, discussions, and professional development opportunities; and by connecting Seattle artists to the inter/national dance community. Before joining team Velocity she worked as an independent producer in Portland, OR and London, UK. She holds an MA in Contemporary Performance from the London Contemporary Dance School, and a BA with majors in Journalism and Dance from the University of Washington.
