House Rules

Key check out policy

If you will be in residence at On the Boards and wish to use the space outside of operating hours or times listed in the production schedule, you may check out a key to the front door and receive an alarm code so that you can arrive at your leisure. Keys can be checked out from the production manager and should be returned to them on the last day of use.

Animal policy

On the Boards welcomes service animals, emotional support animals, and pets with advance notice. All animals must be on leash at all times, so we can ensure everyone’s safety when multiple animals are on site at once. If you plan to bring your animal with you to On the Boards, please reach out to Erin Anson at erin@ontheboards.org to inform them of when your animal will be on site.

Visitor policy

Visitors are welcome at On the Boards. We ask that they follow our covid safety protocols and stay with the individual they are visiting at all times. Please invite them to enter through the Roy St. entrance. Because our call box at that entrance is not always monitored, please make arrangements to meet them at the door yourself. The building is easy to get turned around in, so please ask them not to explore independently.

Covid safety policy

If you feel sick or have been exposed to Covid 19, take a Covid test, wear a mask, and inform the Production Team. If you test positive - leave the building and contact the Production Team to inform them.

Inclement weather policy

On the Boards generally follows the inclement weather policy of King County schools. In the event inclement weather is forecasted, a weather call plan will be created and communicated to you. You or your company manager will be contacted with weather call status updates as they are made.

Lost and found

On the Boards lost and found is located in the second floor box office in the Merrill Lobby. You can contact Erin Anson at erin@ontheboards.org about any missing items.
